ABOUT THIS HOTFIX

This Hotfix consists of a single compressed file 
(HFPGP704-4.ZIP), which you decompress using an 
extraction utility such as WinZip. The zip file 
contains:

1) WinNT folder that contains PGPdisk.sys driver for
   NT

2) Win2000 folder that contains PGPdisk.sys driver for
   Windows 2000

3) Hotfix-4.txt that contains the important installation 
   instructions

   Also included is the PGP Security Software Release 
   Signature, which is outside HFPGP704-4.ZIP.

ISSUES RESOLVED IN THIS HOTFIX

Machines that are running Fsecure's Gatekeeper, the
real time Anti Virus scanning component of the Fsecure 
AV Software (v 4.0.8 and above), creation of a new 7.0.4
PGP Disk will hang the system.  

This Hotfix addresses the issue.

INSTALLATING THE HOTFIX

Installing Hotfix-4 on Windows NT:

1. Go to  %systemroot%/system32/drivers and
   rename PGPdisk.sys to PGPdisk.sys.old

2. Copy PGPdisk.sys included with this Hotfix
   located under Winnt folder to %systemroot%/
   system32/drivers
   
3. Reboot your system for changes to take effect

1. Go to  %systemroot%/system32/drivers and
   rename PGPdisk.sys to PGPdisk.sys.old

2. Copy PGPdisk.sys included with this Hotfix
   located under Win2000 folder to %systemroot%/
   system32/drivers

3. Reboot your system for changes to take effect
